We've recently sold some items to a single buyer who has, quite rightly asked for postage discount. I've followed EBay's 'help' on allowing combined payment and setting up a postage discount rule, but when I ask the invoice to recalculate it will not adjust the price total. Has anybody else had this problem, or does anyone know what I may be doing wrong?
Thanks.

When you click RECALCULATE in an invoice, after selecting (with a tick) the items the buyer has bought, it will basically just add all the postage costs into one.
At this point you should type into the Postage box what you will charge - bear in mind packing costs and it makes sense to 'dummy run' the parcel by weighing it to make sure you aren't charging too much or too little. DON'T RECALCULATE at this point - just PREVIEW and when happy SEND it.
Failing all that advise the buyer you have a problem with eBay invoices and then when they pay refund the overpaid amount ASAP.

That's what we have ended up doing! I kept telling the recalculated invoice to reduce the price by £1.00 (-1.00) in the discounts box but it wouldn't have it!
Thanks for your prompt reply!
