I am using Windows Mail on Vista Home Premium. I have recently added a 3rd email address to my accounts and I am still using one of the original addresses as my default email address. But now, while the system still defaults to my main address when I am writing a new email, it always uses the new email address if I take the reply option to an email already received.
I would much appreciate any advice as to how to correct this please. It is most annoying if I forget and send emails with the wrong address as a sender.
Thank you.

An email program should reply using the address to which the original message was sent, not the default address if it is different. Is this not what is happening?

Thank you the reply mgmcc. No, even when an email is sent to either of my other two email addresses, one of which is the default address, if I take the reply option it always uses the new address that I recently set up as the sender address.
That's the annoying part about it. The new address is not the default address and never has been but the system just keeps picking it up as the sender address when I take the reply option. When I create an entirely new email then the system uses the default address as you would expect.
