I have just went wireless, using my virgin modem and Netgear WG511v2, the thing is I do not like the (SSID) network name I have set up, how can I change this or can I delete this profile and start again?

You don't say if you have Virgin's Cable service or ADSL via the phone line. The Netgear WG511v2 is a Wireless Network Adapter, so it must be connecting to a Wireless Modem/Router for "ADSL", a Wireless Cable/DSL Router for "Cable" or a stand-alone Wireless Access point connected to a Virgin Cable Modem for "Cable". Whichever device you have, go into its wireless settings and re-enter the SSID name in exactly the same way as you did originally. In the computer, you then need to scan for "Available Wireless Networks" again and "Connect" to the one with your new SSID.
