i've just set tried to set up a belkin router for 1pc and 2 laptops when setting up i connected dongle to pc and had the router next to pc and it connected to the internet ok and the 2 laptops connected as well without any probs however when i moved the router to it's permanent position that's when it all went pete tong sometimes the dongle will pick up a strong signal / weak signal or no signal at all the same with the laptops , all 3 will pick up signals from nieghbours routers so there doesn't seem to be any problems with receiving a signal - the router will work with a cable attached to it the router annoyingly is only about 15ft away , there is nothing to interfere with signal 'ive tried moving the antenna and i've had an hour on the phone with the belkin tech support who took me thru various things but to no avail is there anything else i can try or should i take it back and get them to test the router
many thanks for any suggestions

Check that the router in its "permanent" position isn't close to any large metal objects, such as central heating radiators or filing cabinets etc. and that there are no cordless or mobile phones nearby. The same applies to any computers you want to connect "wirelessly" to it.
It might also be worth changing the Channel number in the Router's wireless settings. Try "6" or "11" or, if already on one of these, try the other.
