My son has had a net book MSI U90 for about 4 months and last week it failed to connect to our BT HOME HUB, my laptop connects no problem, what i cant understand is the netbook is detecting the wi-fi signal, device maneger says device is working properly but it just wont connect, can any one offer an option please.

Can you run "System Restore" back to a point prior to the Wi-Fi failing to connect?
Were any Windows Updates installed immediately prior to the problem arising? Some of these updates can do more harm than good.
