No sound output with microphone.
      #438262 - Tue Sep 08 2009 11:00 PM

I have a laptop running Windows Vista. If I plug the mic in I can see the sound is getting into the computer as it shows on the test setting. How do I get the sound from the mic to be audible through the laptop speakers. Or can't I.
Thanks in advance.

It is possible to do it but it's not recommended because you will get feedback i.e. that high pitched whistling sound you hear sometimes when your local village show has the loudspeakers turned up so high that the sound goes back into the microphone.
