I can't play dvd's on my laptop the device manager show's that the VGA software is missing, any help or idea's will be appreciated

Have you tried getting the correct drivers from the Fujitsu web site? Give us the model number of your laptop and we'll track it down.

Unfortunately, because FS use Java script on their web site I can't give you a direct connection to the graphics driver but if you click on this link it will take you to the downloads page. Choose your machine via the options (Notebook, AMILO, AMILO D, AMILOD 7830) then choose Graphic driver. Click on Download, accept the licence terms then download and save the software. Double click on the file to install it.
However, before you do any of that, have you ever been able to watch DVD's on this machine?

No, I purhased it on ebay, and i did't try a dvd until time had lapsed

Are you sure that the laptop is actually capable of playing DVDs? What logos does it have on the front drawer of the CD drive?

Well at least we now know you've got the correct hardware. Next step is the software. Which programme are you using to play your DVDs?
