There is a new version of RealPlayer out today and Its a totally New Version Format name too: RealPlayer SP 1.0 Thats it!
Its a 16.4 MB download
http://filehippo.com/download_realplayer/
Last old style version was RealPlayer 11.0.0.674 @ 11 MBS
Here are the changes: Quote:
RealPlayer SP is designed to be Social and Portable. Most notably, it includes a new RealPlayer Converter that allows you to:
- Convert most audio and video file formats for playback on iPod, BlackBerry, XBox 360, and other devices (note: some devices require RealPlayer Plus for conversion) - Transfer files to devices that support USB mass storage mode - Transfer files to iTunes - Convert video files to output audio only - Change the quality level of your audio and video clips
Other improvements in RealPlayer SP include:
- 120-minute DVD burns (previous limit was 80 minutes; DVD burning remains a premium feature of RealPlayer Plus) - Buttons in Library and Downloader for instant sharing on Facebook and Twitter - Enhanced resizing control with new "mini-mode" - Command overlay on video thumbnails makes it easier to play, share, or copy clips

Version 11 is still good for a long time I'm using 11.0.0.468 from September 2008 and It's no Problem The Mods in this New version are aimed at "Recorders" rather than "Viewers"

Thanks for posting this.
I'm currently running Version 11.1.3, Build 6.0.14.955 which I use for playing DVDs, music videos from enhanced CDs or just plain CDs. At the moment, it doesn't seem worth downloading the new version as I'm not likely to use the additional features.
I'll probably get it eventually though. It's quite a large download with my slow connection.
