Hi i am having great trouble using layers and could use some layers for dummies type walkthrough to get me started as i dont know anyone who uses layers watching is not an option, although it would be best i know
I have tried quite a lot of photoshop type programmes but non seems to help Now i have the freebie paint net whos help page is very simlar to all the other i have tried Most things i can pick up ok but the layers is annoying me
So is there a book/cd or site rigged up to do a step by step? Im on vista with a TB of disc space Cheers Trev

There are many tutorials to view via Google, some good, some bad.
Clicking the Play Video in this link shows a method of creating a -->> compilation using three photos <<-- which in this case are layers pasted onto a background image.
It also explains how to resize and move the layers.
It's by no means a comprehensive or wide ranging use of, creation of layers tutorial, or layer effects lesson, but it's a start. These links, amongst many others, may be a good source of information -->> Paint .NET forums <<--
---and---
-->> Paint.NET Overview <<-- (use the table of contents, concepts and user interface links)
Good luck and have fun.
