Previous versions of Firefox have asked if I wish to save tabs when I close it down and have also asked if I want to delete various things such as cookies and download history etc.
Now when I close FF and I want the tabs saving for the next session, they are not saved and I am not given the option to delete cookies etc.. In previous versions there was a line in 'about:config' that read 'browser.sessionstore.enable' which was set to 'true' which enabled one to return to a previous session, but this line does not appear to be in the latest version of FF.
Is it possible to insert it and if so how does one do it?

I have read that if browser.sessionstore.enabled is missing then the pref has the default value and is enabled. Try going into: Tools -> Options -> Tabs -> Check 'Warn me when closing multiple tabs' -> OK
Also look in Privacy -> Check that 'Clear history when Firefox Closes' isn't ticked.
You may want to also try -->> Tab Mix Plus <<-- which will give you a multitude of 'Tab' options to try.

Many thanks Fusion. I think that the problem was because I had "Clear history when Firefox closes" ticked. Removing the tick now lets me save sessions. In previous versions when this was ticked, Firefox asked if the user wanted the history clearing; now it doesn't ask for confirmation.
Thanks again,
Chris
