Is this happening on Facebook, Linda? If so, this message appeared on the log-in page for me today, but I've signed in as per usual, and without any problems, on two different computers.
Open I.E. , click on tools > internet options > privacy tab. The ideal setting is "medium". If it's not medium then click on the default tab > apply > OK. Close and restart I.E. and try visiting the freezing websites.
