Has your SETI /BOINC Program been updating
      #437076 - Mon Aug 17 2009 01:23 PM

I Have Had Updating Issues with the BOINC manager Program over the Last week or So The servers on some Projects seem to Have no work for Me Even the "Busy" SETI Program which has had used up all the workunits in reserve and with Several other Projects shouting out for work
Just in case you tried it Resetting and deleting Projects is a Futile Exercise
The "fault" lies in the Server software NOT the Program that you download
Have Reinstalled this /repaired it too with No change
Odd thing the BOINC boards are NOT Showing that there is a Problem (at this time)
I'll Bet even Recent New accounts are getting No Work
If Nothing happens in the Next 24 hours I shall Give them a Heads up

I've managed to restart 2 Projects, and the cause is the Resource balance for the Different projects which can be controlled remotely From the BoincStats and Grid Republic site if you have an account. So the 2 or 3 servers tell each other that your computer wants so much work(From the BOINC server) or None (is a fine balance) The Reality is you'll get Nothing if you Tamper with these controls

The Einstein AT Home Site is completely Down with a serious Server crash.

They have Posted a Note to say they are "trying" to restart @ 20:00 UK Time But I expect it'll be off for the whole day. They added its the 2nd time the server has failed this week!
