Do you mean you're using I.E 7 and you wish to update to I.E. 8 ???

I sort of held off from offering that option Greysts as IE8 is/was available via automatic updates . It may suggest an overdue visit to the Windows update site is required from the OP , and other important associated updates may be due if he/she has not been updating in this manner on a regular basis.
However it could be the OP has refused the IE8 update previously and your link may be beneficial.
