How can I stop text expanding out of view when zoom-in??
      #437055 - Sun Aug 16 2009 11:11 PM

Hello

I struggle reading the 'light grey spidery small text' on most websites these days (no doubt young keen-eyed webdesigners are responsible).

Anyway, I'm usng FF 3.0.13 and I zoom in using ctrl and mouse wheel, but on many websites the text expandes out of view. I then have to use the horizontal scroll bar to scroll back and forth to read etc. How can I keep text in view without scrolling?

Seems a pretty basic requirement to actually read the info on websites, but webdesigners seem not to cater for less than hawk-eyed users. Fluid layout (correct term?) are no prob as they expand, but within the designed resolution.

Is there an add-on or any method I can use, even another browser other than FF?

Any suggestions appreciated.
GraHal

I can't remember if your version has this option, but with Firefox open, go to View -> Zoom -> Zoom Text Only.

If you don't have this feature. download the latest version from -->> HERE <<--
