What's happening to my internet connection?
      #437035 - Sun Aug 16 2009 05:27 PM

I've recently changed ISPs (my new one is BE) but instead of using their modem I've kept my Belkin ADSL wireless router. I've changed the settings as per BE's instructions and I can connect to the internet, but after a couple of hours I can no longer get online (my little icon says 'local only'). If I dial into the router it says I'm connected to the internet, and strangely it looks as if I'm still downloading stuff (e.g.from a P2P site) but I can't surf! If I reboot my PC and/or disconnect then reconnect the ethernet cable sometimes I can get back online, but mostly I just shut everything down and wait a while. Vista's Help says it can't diagnose the problem, so what's going on? Someone please please help me!
