IE8 'Find on Page'
      #436860 - Fri Aug 14 2009 12:35 PM

Since I upgraded to IE8 recently, whenever I click Edit then 'Find on page' I get a blue horizontal bar under the full length of the toolbar, but no ability to type anything to allow a seach to be made.

I presume the bar is correct to appear but that there should also be a text box inside it. Can anyone suggest a solution please?

Have you tried Pressing the Ctrl+F Keys instead of clicking "Edit"?
If no change, then reinstall IE8 (Does not come under the Toolbar link list )
The Bar will "appear" below the TAB title

Thanks for the suggestions but neither of them have worked. Even after reinstalling IE8, exactly same happens - the bar appears but no box to type into. I can't even remove the useless bar without closing IE8 and reopening it.
