Hi "bricat" ive got "comodo firewall" but i get a lot of "pop-ups" in the "bottom right" screen when i add/remove stuff on my lappy....

i had comodo and found it slowed down the computer a lot, it also asked about the same program time and time again, i was glad to get rid of it. once you tell a firewall to allow a program access to the net it should remember and not keep asking.

The version # doesn't make any difference, it's the Pro version that allows for the inclusion of the blocklist , not the free version. I assumed you had the Pro version which is what the original post was about.

Thank you OurStanley, believe it or not, after two years, I was still on Windows Firewall. I had tried Comodo, but as has been mentioned, it wasn't too user friendly, which was no good for my better half.
