I have just connected this dongle to a USB port and even though I got a window saying found new hardware Disk drive. I don't want to sound stupid here but I can't find where it has been installed. Can anyone help please
There should now be a Bluetooth applet in Control Panel and, while the Bluetooth dongle is plugged in, there may also be a Bluetooth icon in the Notification Area (System Tray) beside the clock, which you can right click for options.
Also, depending on the software you've installed, it may appear in the Network Connections folder as a LAN connection or a PAN (Personal Area Network) connection.
