Could you elaborate please.
IE8 doesn't have a download manager as far as I'm aware.

Hi Fusion,
I'm using Internet Download Manager v5.15.In options it gives me the option to use
panel view in full mode or mini mode, which shows in a web page with a video player. In IE the panel appears in the correct place(just above the video). So I can click it to download or ignore it.
In Firefox,Internet download manager opens automatically, without any prompting. There is no download panel visible as in IE.

Hope that explains it better.?
Thanks for your time.

Try downloading the 5.17 version from -->> Here <<-- at the bottom of the page. The link will give you the latest version even though it shows an older one.

However, I have tried it and the panel will not show in IE8, but will open a download window to manually start it.
In Firefox 3.5.2, the panel view shows above a video and doesn't auto download until I tell it to! When I swap over to IE mode in FF, the download panel disappears.

I have all the settings the same for IE & FF.
I have even tried 'Advanced Browser Integration' but it makes no difference.

You may register 30-day trial version of Internet Download Manager for only $29.95 (special limited time offer)....Sorry I'm not able to help, and my version has just gone!
