When eBay really hit it's peak, you tend to wonder why they thought they had to make so many changes. Anyway, there are some more on the way:

Starting from 22nd Sept.

One of the most interesting concerns eBay's 'star ratings' for sellers - DSRs. At the moment you just have to keep a good average score to keep in the good books.

Now they are looking at taking action if anyone gets more than 3% 1 or 2 star ratings in a certain period. This can be at worst restrictions on selling to losing out in searches.

Powersellers will now be rated as well under Top Seller Status. Wassat? Well, Powersellers status is given based on how much you sell either quantity or value. The Top Seller status will be based on Powerseller's DSRs. Right.

It's worth a look through the link, but there are quite a few. Some more expansion of the 'Free Postage' on media - meaning ALL CD and DVD sales HAVE to Freepost. We all know Freepost is a myth, right? Bit like Dryland in Waterworld.

I feel we should be okay on these.

We do get some stupid ratings though. Sold an item last week and the Positive Feedback was 'Nice Item but not as big as I expected'.

Although we can't check, as Star Ratings on DSRs are anonymous, you can guarantee she gave us a low score on Desciption - this on a listing that contains measurements in Inches AND Centimetres, a clear message 'USE A TAPE MEASURE IF YOU ARE UNSURE ON SIZES' and the item in question was photographed next to a 50p.

You just know some days you cannot win..............
