Best books ever
      #433697 - Sat Jul 04 2009 06:44 PM

This list is obviously compiled by users of the site and I would guess that many of them are Mormons (see No. 2). Nevertheless, I find the descriptions of the books interesting and I've sent off to Amazon for a couple by Khalad Hosseini.

Yes there are other things to do apart from playing with computers.

To describe a book as the "best ever" is meaningless. Books which appealed to us in the past can seem dull and predictable nowadays. However, I'm glad that you're thinking of reading Hosseini's books. They are well written, and deal with complex emotional issues within a riveting story.

Books like films are to the individuals taste and other than the amount sold there is no way of telling, also how many are left unread or unseen? How often does someone recommend a book or a film, or the media say it's fantastic etc and you wonder how it was ever published or produced.

Interesting list , many of them have been into films, which proves the written word is the strongest...
