Apparently this version quoted below is the first "stable version" Me ? I'm giving it another version or 2 plus feedback
Quote: Google made a beta version of this release available in March. It was designated 2.0.169.1. The new version is being called a stable release, to distinguish it from beta or developer releases.
Source... Article is a few weeks out of date (despite being dated for today) Google Chrome 2.0.181.1 Beta id the latest version (and the BETA tag is still being shown) Thought I think they are getting through a lot of fixes in recent versions I'd say the real stable edition (No Beta tag) will be out soon

Quote: If you're already using Google Chrome, you'll be automatically updated to this new version soon. If you're new or if you're itching to try this right away, you can get the latest version at google.com/chrome.
My take on it Download version 1 and get the Upgrade when its offered (if you are new to Chrome)
