hi y'all back again this question is re-IE8 is it possible to have open with mozilla as well as internet explorer but not with same active page? like being able to toggle between both browsers at the same time for comparison? thanks in anticipation. whizzer.

yep it is, but why you would want to use IE8 instead of having a separate tab
As rayinski says, you can do this, very easily. But to achieve a comparison between the two browsers, having the 'active' page the same would give you a more accurate comparison.
