Hi I have just gone back to BT for my phone line after being with Virgin for years. I do not know which broadband to go with, my brother says BT is brilliant but my friend says its rubbish !!! I have seen offers for O2 broadband which I can get cheaper because I'm on O2 mobile. Can anyone advise me to which is the better service it does not necassarily have to be the cheapest

Have you tried the Post Office? Their package phone/broadband is very good at a very competitive price. I switched from AOL/BT which were utter rubbish and their call centres in India make life very difficult when problems arise.

I personally don't like BT at all. I moved into my uni house with my friends and we went for BT internet. We got it all set up and were very happy, until one of us noticed a few days later that they hadn't changed the billing name from the previous tenants at the house. We phoned them up to tell them about their mistake and they said they would have to disconnect us for 2 weeks to rectify the problem! ... So we just went with BE instead
