Looking to buy a laptop and have seen what looks to be a good buy,it is a Medion Akoya s5610 not sure if this laptop would be as good a quality as a Dell or HP laptop,is this laptop good value or cheap rubbish?would love to hear from anyone with experience of this brand ,good or bad thanks in advance.

Medion are good quality. It was listed on the WU most wanted
Your really only concern is the support, not that you are likely to need it that much if at all. The specs of the S5610 are little short of remakable for the price.
There is an estimated 10 hour battery life, which is the lappie world is very good.

This is a relatively old post but can anyone tell me if there is a later model to the Medion 5610 and which is the most reliable source from which to purchase. Many thanks for any help.

The last 3 Medion PCs I have bought all came from Aldi. The price is good but you can't use a credit card. I haven't needed any support so can't tell you about that.
