Have you been trying in vain to register your Yahoo! email with the Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop Email Client and like me getting this Message "com.zimbra.cs.mailclient.CommandFailedException: LOGIN failed: LOGIN failure. Server Error-Please try again after some time. Error code 2
" And getting frustrated at all the other Mail accounts showing.
Well, here is the way to get it to work and its a simple alteration on the Sign up page When you are entering your Yahoo emal address, you put naturally YourAddress@Yahoo.co.uk But like some Domain addresses they will have other routes to the Server (and Recognised as legit) So type the address again as YourAddress@Yahoo.com and... Hows that?
Moral is the Zimbra server does not recognise Yahoo addresses with Country extensions, only as ".COM"
PS WARNING! Does set off the Avast! Virus Warning Alarm when it "Sees" the Spam box, and Spam in the Trash Click "Delete" in the Avast ! window to Hush things up OK? Rather you set Preferences/Options to read the Mail and Keep the Trash and Spam on the server
BTW I only discovered answerboards by NOT typing "Co.uk" on Jeeves aka Ask.com(in 1999) .Page looked the same, same answers bar a small Link to "Ask other People" Clicked it out of curiosity and here I am, well over 20K postings later!
Partial review and Tips by me of the Program Now that the "Big Yahoo ! login issue is now resolved

Clarifying the "Spam Issue" After using it for a few days the Spam "seen"(By Avast!) If any, in the Inbox on your desktop only ...The server still has the original and B) The Trash and Spam Folders on the Yahoo and other programs online are not brought over ,Only Custom Folders. So Do not "Sync" the Zimbra mailbox if you have not deleted the spam in the online Inbox, otherwise the alarm goes off again!
Strongly advise you have Avast! Up and running it may save your PC from Nasties getting in through this door

Download took about 2 minutes with the Wizard My File version is unchanged Only clue is the Build Number change So I started with 1251 and the Update (on the task bar menu) reads 1278

I downloaded this software a few days ago and couldn't work out why a Yahoo program wouldn't register a Yahoo account. So I uninstalled it. Only just seen this message.
I am not a heavy user of email and have been quite happy using Windows live mail for the past week.
