micro disk not Recognized

hi,i have just bought a 4gb SanDisk microSDHC card,i put it in the adapter and put it in the memory card reader in the computer,nothing came up and when i went to my computer and checked all the drives,it didn't show up there,i have encountered this problem before but can't remember how i found the disk on the computer,i am running vista any help?thank you cl

This could be a drive letter conflict in which case go into the Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Disk Management. In here you will be able to see if your micro stick is being picked up by the computer, if so you can then assign a drive letter which you know is free and the contents of your micro stick should show.
