I have always used AVG but now I find I cant use it or reinstall it. There is a WINREANIMATOR that appeared on the computer and continually hassles me to download it but I am not going to. I looked on the internet and it suggested SUPERANTISPYWARE program would remove WINREANIMATOR but I cant get it to load and run (I have managed to get it working on another computer and it has solved the problems on that machine). I have manage to finally delete what I have found of WINREANIMATOR but I am still not able to run or install avg. I think there is maybe a virus on here stopping antispyware and virus checkers from working. How can I find and remove the problem and get the virus checker working again please?
WINREANIMATOR doesnt appear to be on my computer anymore but I still cant get a virus checker to install or run. Yestrday I tried to run hijack this and that installed but wouldnt run. There seems to be some virus that stops virus checkers working. I dont have a bank account or credit cards so any solution has to be a free one.
right click on HIJACKTHIS and rename it to JENANDHARRY.EXE then try scanning with it. if it works post your HJT log in the hijackthis forum.
