Webuser Forums: Disable Fire Fox Awesome Bar

If like me the Awesome bar gets on your nerves try this tweak (at your own risk) but it does work.
1. In the Address bar, type "about:config", (without the quotes) and press Enter,
2. Click I'll be careful, I promise!,
3. Type into the filter bar "browser.urlbar." without the quotes

4. Double left click on the entry "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults" (no quotes again, should be third from bottom of list) and a box should come up entitled "enter integer value" with the number 12 in it change this to -1 then exit Fire Fox and restart the browser, the Awesome drop down should no longer be available, or if you want to change the number of entries change the integer value to whatever you want, I would not advise too great a number though.
This is not my tweak but one from the Mozilla website, it took me a while to find it so I thought I would try to reproduce it here.
