DVD-RW Disc

I have been given some DVD-RW disc
and was wondering if they can be
used in the same way as you use CD-RW,
ie for storing music/picture files etc:
Also do they have to be formatted first.

Yes, you need to use packet writing software, such as Nero's InCD
There is no need to format
Be warned though, constant rewriting is not a good long term idea
