router not connecting automatically
      #398666 - Thu Jun 26 2008 10:04 AM

My Inspiron 1501 laptop connects with no problems to my router when I go throught the connect procedure from start. I obviously expect it to connect automatically whenever I switch on, but end up ,having to go through the manual procedure. Going through the automatic connect, I get right through to the request for the router to connect and it then says it cannot find router.
I am beat with this can anyone advise ?

For whatever reason, my router sometimes disappears from my list of preferred routers. You may have already thought of this, but it's a place to start.
