Recently split my PC 'activities' by buying a cheap PC for games (XP) and a cheap laptop for the internet. All going well, but one issue I came across was what Firewall is best for Vista.
I always used Zonealarm on XP and once set up found it ideal. However I had read that Vista had issues with it, so I thought I would give Comodo a go on the new machine.
I find the Comodo Firewall okay, but it is the Defender part that is driving me mad. Too many pop ups' for me. When I configure it it comes up with a pop up constantly asking if I want to go back to previous state.
So a quick question after a long build up: Is ZoneAlarm AOK on your Vista system and which is the best?

hi FilthyRaider I've been using comodo for about a year now along with AVG-8 must say i found the pop-ups very annoying but once you have a look around and let the app get to no your machine all the pop-ups stop and infact the only time i get pop ups now is if I'm installing new software or something like that

You are most likely right. Bit like getting used to anything new - new house, car, girlfriend!
I have managed to get it to calm down a bit this morning, and effectively the laptop should have very little 'new' stuff going on it as I only want it for getting on eBay etc.
Still just wondered if ZoneAlarm had got any Vista issues?
