My Avast! Network Shield/ On-Access Scanner is as I post this. Under a constant bombardment from somewhere The IP number given is 92,4 .xxx.xxx:xxx (Is different every time!) Avast! Says its carrying the DCOM-EXPLOIT signature and there are 2 further Complications.. Firstly The Avast Network shield is Not Logging these Hits 2ndly My McAfee Firewall was is also registering no abnormal activity
Last Hit record came from Manchester!(Different IP Number)
Can anyone explain what may be happening? I was expecting an email from Manchester today (But thats coming via AOL) This is outside that System Having hits every Minute

I have now switched the Messages off. Can't be Bothered locating the source.. Did see this link within those posts as an aid to get rid of this pest ,which is already been protected against a few years ago www.grc.com/freeware/dcom.htm
