All Firefox fans are (or will soon) be getting to grips with the all new Firefox 3.

This cool little tip lets you enable spellchecking in One-line Input Fields.

Enter about:config into the Address Bar.

Click "I'll be careful I'll promise!" (If you don't want to see this screen in future, uncheck the box.)

Click the L key to scroll down the list to the L entries.

Double Click layout.spellcheckDefault

Set the value to 2.

Restart the browser.

Now when you type in any box in Firefox, you are alerted with any spelling errors.

I find this feature very useful when using Facebook Chat, as it highlights my spelling mistakes and I can just right click and choose a word from the suggestions box to correct them

Just a shame Windows Live Messenger doesn't have a spell checker.

God forbid that kidz aktuly spel korectly, but it can be achieved using aSpellChecker
