I set my computer to open with a password and do not have any hint as to what it was. HOW CAN I DISABLE THE PASSWORD?I NEED SERIOUS HELP. ALL MY SCHOOL ESSAYS ARE IN THERE!!!!! AND NO GUEST ACCOUNT. iT was to prevent my siblings to not mess it up.

I would like to help you but the usual procedure on most forums is to ask you to give more proof that you are the legal owner of said machine.
Tell us about the configuration, both hardware and software?
What type of documents are stored on it, e.g. letters, spreadsheets, databases?
When did you last run mscon_stig and is Uncoupled Account Configuration (UAC) turned on or off?
How much HDD space is occupied?
What key is pressed to enter Setup?
What size is the recovery partition?
Answer these ‘O’ level questions to my satisfaction and I’ll send you a private message.

It is windows Vista . Sony vaio nr series . I do not know all the other stuff . I do not have that much of advanced knowledge of computers. How do I find all this stuff out ????
