Why can't I get eBay on my 'puter?

I can get eBay on one of my laptops but IE7 wont display it on the other one! Do I need to do something technical?

its now displaying ebay homepage (sometimes!) but when i search for something i get the message that internet explorer cannot display page!

You probably need to post this in the IE section. This doesn't sound like a problem with eBay, just your browser.

Try checking you can accept cookies. It may be related to this:

THe link takes you to something posted a while ago. EBay are using some sort of system that 'logs' what PCs you access you account from. The idea is once it builds up some sort of picture it will then be able to spot the 'rogue' trying to log in.

I'd say it is too early days yet for that to be the issue, but it most likely is related to cookies.
