Problem with connection
      #396762 - Sun Jun 08 2008 03:46 PM

I have a internet connection on my main pc but not on my laptop.
Im using a Netgear Wireless-G Modem Router DG834G
with a D-Link AirPlus DWL-650+ card.
Have used the connection wizard but on the laptop it says
Limited or No Connectivity with a yellow warning triangle.
Both running windows xp.
The netgear router is new as old netgear router (same model)
no longer worked.
As im no wizard im guessing somewhere i havent completed
the set up process.
Please help.

haven't had any experience with your model of router but as a rule of thumb i would buy all the components of the network from the same manufacturer if possible (i.e all netgear or all d-link).check the netgear website for info.
