Webuser Forums: Anti virus 2008

Hi
My son has picked up the anti virus 2008 bug.It keeps telling him he has multiply virus's and he needs to buy the full version to fix it.We cannot get rid of it,it lets us connect to the internet and google search but will not let you get any further until you buy the program.please could you help.
