I am having a problem when installing KB938371 from windows update. It asks for a restart but will not configure on restart hence reverts to previous settings.What should i do? Any help gladly appreciated. thanks

Try downloading KB937287 from here, But don't install it

then download itKB938371 from here but don't install it yet

disconnect from internet, Disable UAC, Anti-virus, and firewall

Install KB937267 (no reboot required) then KB938371 reboot and it
successfully installs without multi bootups.

Make sure that your firewall and AV are started before reconnecting to the internet

Did as you said but when installing KB937287 it states 'This update does not apply to your system'. I note though that there are 2 different numbers in the reply above. I used KB937287 but below it says KB937267. thanks
