I have read the articles on getting flashplayer to work on Vista and yet still it doesn't appear to function properly.
A friend has Vista home premium; we installed flashplayer as he wanted to listen to some music on play.com.
After installing flashplayer, still the "play arrow" did not appear on the music he wanted to listen to.
I went into system 32, macromed, and right clicked on the flash icon; run as administrator, it updated, I restarted.
Still it didn't work.
I changed privileges to run as administrator. I changed the user security settings, uninstalling and re-installing flash as suggested, restarting etc.
Despite all of this it still will not work - and yes, I installed the latest flashplayer; checked on the adobe site to make sure I'd done everything correctly etc..
Also as someone else suggested, I've checked the internet options and made sure the add on (flash) is enabled...
Any more tips would be gratefully appreciated! It does seem to be an issue from what I've researched so far...
