Wi-fi monitor - is there such?

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a Wi-fi monitor ? I'd like to be able to start a slide show running on my PC ( using Picasa or similar) and then move my monitor to a different room..........

Try either netstumbler or WiFi SiStr

Both freeware
