Hi to all members!
I am a newbie - Please help me if possible.
Having difficulties in getting into My eBay. I have Tiscali at home that would not let me sign in but I have no problem when I use it from an Internet Cafe. Therefore it is not eBay problem but I believe Tiscali's problem or my PC setup. I am breaking my head without any success.
I will appreciate if you would kindly help me to fix it.
Kind regards

The only issue I have ever had with eBay sign up is a cookie issue and the message says 'Your browser is not accepting cookies'. Do you get any messages?
Also be aware of this:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/confidence/identity-confirmation.html
EBay will be logging which computer you use to access the site. It is to stop identity theft, so actually a good move, but at the outside it might be the issue.
Anyway, let us know what messages you get when you try to log in.

Thank you for your reply, FilthyRaider.
It was the ADSL router problem. The Firewall was blocking the site for some reason. I have now changed it and all working OK.
Kind regards

Hello, please can someone help. This problem is driving me crazy. Its basicaly the above problem, but I can't find a fix for it.
Problem is:
- I try to sign in to ebay, the browser launches a new tab and I get a 'display blocked content' at the top of the page.
- If I have Kaspersky running (which I have tried reinstalling twice) it blocks them, says the website doesn't have a valid certificate.
- If I disable Kaspersky, it launches the same new tab but without the display blocked content/certificate problems... I enter my login detials and it says something about browser not supporting forwarding, but when I press the 'click here to continue' it takes me back to the ebay home page.
I have searched all the firewall setting, allowed all cookies, cleared the cache for IE7, reinstalled IE7 (IE8 Beta) still the same problem.
I run vista and xp, I have no problem signing in when on XP.
I also have firefox and safari, both have the same problem.
Please Please Please help me, this problem is driving me crazy and I am starting to worry that I have picked up a virus/malware somewhere that might be trying to get my ebay password...
Any help / suggestions would be much appreciated...

Hello again, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly but the problem seems to have sorted its self out, I suspect it might have been an ebay problem with their website, or something like that.
Thanks anyway! GreenYoshi

Frankly it is unlikely to be eBay, more the browser, op system or settings. In the instance where it comes back I would give Greysts the info as it might be easier.
