copying audio tapes
      #394590 - Tue May 20 2008 12:30 PM

I have a lot of audio tapes and I want to copy them to the computer and then put them onto a CD if I want to listen to it on the Hi Fi.(mainly keep them on the computer). I remember reading somewhere that there is some equipment that allows you to copy them at a fast speed (x5). Does anyone have any ideas on how to copy them.

I don't personally know of equipment that allows you to copy them at a fast speed (x5), but this link . . . . >> How to transfer a tape to a CD using Audacity << . . . . should be of some help.
