I am having problems seeing the pictures on all the bbc websites. My children like going on cbeebies and playing the games, this is very difficult for them without the pictures. I also have problems receiving sound with some of the bbc video's. Can somebody please help me, thanks

Sounds like it could be a flash player problem. Test your Flash Player installation...here .On the Adobe Flash Player box , hover your cursor over the "about" box to reveal what version you have.
If it's earlier than 9,0,115,0 an update may cure the problem.

Thanks for the help, have update to the latest shockwave player, still no joy. Can anybody HELP, please.

JammyJas , Shockwave and Flash players are different animals. The cbeebies games you mention , require the Flash player.
Which version of Flash are you using. If it's the latest version , 9,0,115,0 it may be your installation is corrupt. Try downloading and running the... Flash Player Uninstaller. This will remove all remnants of the current installation. Re-boot your pc then go back... here...and install a fresh copy.

Thanks again for your post but i don't think its the shockplayer. My children can play the games fine the problem is that the pictures don't come up on the screen when selecting the games before playing them. None of the pictures come up on any of the bbc websites, weather, home page etc. The video and the games play fine. Please help. , I am using firefox and believe it may be something to do with Javascript, do you have any info on this?
I have just checked and the homepage for bbc appears fine on internet explorer.

Ahh right , i get you. So is it just BBC sites you have this problem with ? Can you see the members avatars on this forum for example ?
When you go to the cbeebies games does it look something like this

yes! i can see the avatars on this website but can't see pictures on bbc websites!

Are you using Adblock plus or something similar .It's maybe been set in error to block images on BBC's websites.
