Okay, so i've poked around here and seen a few topics about one of my errors, "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR" i treid the steps there, and that still seems to be kinda screwy
but, the main one is that when i boot up my computer, after finishing loading windows, it gives me a blue screen, and doesnt give me a reason. so i take the step of restarting it in safe mode, and restarting it without even logging in, after this, it's fine
at a guess, i'm thinking maybe my RAM is faulty?

First of all make sure the error message is displayed on the screen by stopping the computer from automatically restarting when an error is encountered, right-click My Computer > Properties > Advanced Tab then click Settings at the bottom alongside Startup and Recovery then in System Failure untick ‘Auto Restart’.
Now, next time you have a BSOD (BugCheck Code), the STOP error will be displayed on the screen, together with the error message.
Make a note of the hexadecimal error number (the format is 0x00000aaa, where aaa is the error number, e.g. 05A) and look for an explanation of your error number as shown in the left pane here http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/ms795508.aspx

Okay, i looked through various pages, including microsofts' many pages, and i feel that my RAM is uber faulty in case you were wondering, the Hexadecimal error is was getting was.. STOP 0x00000007F (0x000000008, 0x80042000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) This error message can occur if either of the following conditions exists: • Your computer has hardware or software problems (hardware failure is the most common cause). • You try to over clock the speed of your computer's processor (for example, you set a 150 MhZ processor to run at 187 MhZ).
seeing as i dont even want to bother with overclocking yet, i'm assuming my ram is faulty, as i went through trial and error, and resat a peice of hardware one by one, first my HDD, i still got the error i resat my grahpics, still got the error, resat my RAM.. didnt get the error so i'm confused, but im going to buy some replacement RAM asap. thanks for the tip
