Webuser Forums: Mouse Pointer Freezing after Spyware Doctor 5.5 Download

I have used a limited version of Spyware Doctor for sometime without incident. I took advantage of an opportunity to download a full version 5.5 for free, but have encountered a problem with my mouse pointer freezing soon after the download and installation. I attribute this problem to the install, as the problem is resolved when the download is uninstalled together with a system restore to the day previous to the download. However, I would like to run Spyware Doctor as it locates more spyware than Ad-Aware, which I currently use. I am assuming that there is some conflict with the program and existing applications running on my PC. I use XP with IE7, and run AVG antivirus, ZoneAlarm firewall, Ad-Aware, Spybot, System Mechanic 6 and Windows Defender, none of which caused a conflict when running the earlier version of Spyware Doctor. Any help or assistance in resolving this issue would be much appreciated.
