How can we find the "moved" posts?
      #393811 - Thu May 08 2008 06:33 PM

Sometimes a post title catches my eye and I think I will follow it, only to find "This topic has been removed". After a period of fruitless searching, I usually let it go. This time I thought I would copy and paste the moved title and see if it would materialise, but no. So, has do you have any bright ideas as to how we can find these moved/lost posts?.

Click on the statement - "This topic has been moved" as it is a hyperlink to the post.

I was going to move this to the correct forum, i.e. Feedback & Announcements, but then it would have defeated the subject!

Note the word isn't 'REmoved' but 'moved'. We only ever remove a post if it is seen to break the forum rules.

The vast majority of deleted posts are from silly people trying to sell you stuff you don't need, for more money than you can afford and which you probably won't get after you've paid for it anyway!

We get a few from clowns pushing web sites which are designed to make the owner a profit.

And then there are the ones from people who think it a great idea to slag off other forum users using language that's only fit for those who haven't got the brain power to think in any other way. They not only get their posts removed but end up with a ban.

Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Yes, that was an oversight. I apologise.
