Pah! Now they tell you, when I've already removed it, and replaced with Avira's Antivir (which is very nice btw, and scores well in independent tests).

What's the verdict on version 8? Was about to delete 7.5 then saw this post.

It's very good.

If you choose to install follow.....item 1250

It does however conflict with a couple of other applications , details of which are...item 1328 . This list fails to mention SpywareBlaster which also has a conflict and it's best to uninstall this.

There's one line in item 1250 which puzzled me when installing my copy last week. "After download to Desktop - Restart Computer".

After any program's install I do a Restart but after download of File? Never heard of that before. It's no big deal to Restart twice of course, best follow what AVG says so I did.

Just a thought.
