relative/absolute addressing in hyperlink
      #393483 - Sun May 04 2008 10:08 AM

Can anyone help please:

I'm using Frontpage to create a web page with a number of hyperlinks on it, my problem is that when I create a hyperlink it creates the address as an absolute address (C:/.../.../ etc) whereas I want it as an address relative to the page I am building.

Cannot find where in Frontpage I set this up.

I've not used FP for many years but; have you created a 'web' (the folder the site and all it's component parts reside in, prior to uploading)?

You need to go into the HTML code and change it manually, FT thinks you're gonna run the site from your computer.
