Hi Not sure if I posted this in the right place so appols if I got that wrong.
Basically my question is this; How do I check my current computer meets the systems requirements for a ATI HD 3870 GPU X2 PCIE 1024MB Video Card?
All helpful comments gratefully received.

The only thing you need to know is if your PC has got a PCIe expansion slot. The paperwork that came with your PC should tell you that. If you can't find that, come back and we'll give you a software link to help you find out.

Download SIW from here and then install it. When you run it, on the left hand side of the screen you will see a long list of headings. Under Hardware, click on System Slots and tell us what you see. It would also be quite useful to know what you've got currently as a Graphics driver so again under the Hardware heading click on Video. On the right hand side the top 2 entries (Display Adaptor and Display Board) are all we need.

That suggests to me that you don't have any PCIe slots in your PC and therefore the graphics card you want won't fit. You seem to have a reasonably powered card already. Why do you want to upgrade it? How old is your PC roughly and what is it's make and model number?
